Folklorika jewellery is produced in small batches with a focus on ethical manufacturing. The original designs are carefully hand carved in wax, which is then used to create moulds for casting in either bronze or sterling silver. If desired, gold casting can be arranged.
The entire production process, ranging from design to the final product's fabrication, is done locally within Scotand.
Folklorika is a one-woman jewellery studio, run by Simone Toerien, based in Scotland.
Inspiration for her handmade jewellery is drawn from flora, fauna, & ancient folktales.
By using traditional methods to craft one-of-a-kind & small-batch collections she aims to leave a small footprint on the Earth and create keepsakes that last for generations.
